Day 1: Arrival at Paro
After checking in to your hotel, do some birding along Pa Chhu (river).
Day 2: Paro to Thimphu
In the morning, drive to Chelela pass for birding. Drive to Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha (~ 3 hrs) with a stop at the Dochula pass (3100 m) for birding and sightseeing.
Day 4: Punakha to Trongsa
Drive to Trongsa (~ 6 hrs). Stop at the Pelela pass for birding.
Day 5: Trongsa to Tingtibi
Drive to Tingtibi (~4 hrs) with several stops for birding.
Day 6: Tingtibi to Trongsa
Drive back to Trongsa with birding stops along the way.
Day 7: Trongsa to Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu (~ 8 hrs).
Day 8: Thimphu
Drive to the north and do some birding in the Tango and Cheri area. Sightseeing in Thimphu.
Day 9: Thimphu to Paro
Drive to the base (~1.5 hrs) and hike to the Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktshang).
Day 10: Departure
Drive to the Paro International Airport where our representatives will bid you goodbye!
